I went to Italy with my Mommy last year and it was the best experience I've ever experienced. Italy was beautiful and I can't wait until her and I can go back. Although I would love to talk about our trip this is about " Alla Rampa." Our last destination of our Italy trip was Rome. Once we stepped out of our hotel when we made a left you go down some stairs Valentino is to the right and "Alla Rampa" is on the left. I'm just happy we tried this restaurant first so we didnt have to keep looking because we ate here two other times after. Alla Rampa has a huge menu with fresh made pastas and sauces. Once we entered the door it was crowded with large families who were enjoying these large portions of pastas and traditional italian dishes. The staff was great and all seemed in a rush which was great because we were hungry and also after our first time we knew what we wanted so we were in a rush too LOL. My favorite here is the Bucatini pasta. Buca in italian means hole and Bucatini pasta is basically a thick spaghetti with a hole through the middle like a tube. Alla Rampa serves their housemade Bucatini with bacon, a little cream, and pecorino romano. It is so simple yet delicious and I wish I could just have them ship it to me it is that good!
