Two Urban Licks- A restaurant I always recommend

In my opinion, Two Urban Licks is a staple restaurant in Atlanta. I have celebrated plenty of birthdays there, including two of my own. Two Urban Licks is a chic restaurant in the Highland area of Atlanta. It's perfect for a date night, birthday, or even just a girls' night. The decor is dim but vibrant. Once you walk through the huge double doors you notice that the kitchen is placed in the middle of the dining room, allowing for the immediate scent of fire-wood, and fresh garlic cooking to slap you in the face. Their menu changes seasonally, but they still keep their popular staples like their "Salmon Chips," "Brisket Empanadas," and their "Bistro Steak," with chimichurri. My favorite of their summertime seasonal dishes is their Branzino with salsa verde- a whole roasted Branzino topped with the tasty salsa on top of roasted potatoes. I was not the happiest to learn that the fish was seasonal but, luckily, Two Urban Licks has other great menu choices so I wasn't unhappy for long.
