nce City Market is my favorite place in Atlanta. Anytime someone travels to come visit me I always take them there. Its a large modern market in a renovated warehouse that used to be the Sears, Roebuck & Co. building. There are retail stores like Sephora and West Elm but I go there more frequently for the restaurants! This specific restaurant is Bellina an Italian restaurant with classic Italian dishes, a full bar, and in the front of the restaurant a cute little market with imported goods. Great food is important but so is great customer service and our server was amazing and knew the menu with great detail which is the best thing a server can do in my opinion! I had a old fashion of course and my girlfriend had the "she's back!" which I was jealous I didn't get because it was so good! For apps we ordered some cheese and salami to make a custom charcuterie which we caught for happy hour so got a good discount, the meatballs, and the finnochio salad (hopefully I spelled that correctly) everything was so good, the salad was a little underdressed but we ordered to get a little veggie in so we didn't mind much. For entrees my girlfriend got the carbonara which was so good the pasta was perfect and tender so fresh and had an egg yolk plopped on top. I got the Ragu which was great as well everything was amazing. If I was to judge one thing is the lack of side veggies on the menu we would've loved a side of asparagus, sautéed mushrooms, or roasted fennel there was only fingerling potatoes, side salad, and polenta, as sides all I wouldn't quite want to pair with pasta. An arugula salad with lemon would've been the perfect acidic ingredient to cut the rich pastas.
