Superica - The best Tex Mex in the A

About 4 years ago, I was on a plane coming back from Washington DC and read the magazine placed by my seat. In the magazine they talked about the best carne asada came from Superica. Superica is a Tex Mex restaurant owned by Ford Fry. Ford Fry is a restaurateur and chef from Texas, but has a number of restaurants in Atlanta. On my favorite restaurant list majority of them are Ford Fry. Ford Fry is one of my inspirations because all of his restaurants create great experiences, and although each restaurant he owns have different cuisine, they all are the same by being executed perfectly. Superica is one of my favorite restaurants on the Ford Fry list. Honestly everything on the menu is great, but I always get the Armstrong appetizer- queso topped with chorizo and guacamole. For my entree I always get the Tampiquena- carne asada served with two cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, and topped with a fried egg. I've had (pictured below) their soup and salad which is great as well, but if its your first time GET THE TAMPIQUENA! This is my secret to you.. If you want something a little sweet after eating ask for the house popsicle. Its a secret but they always have free homemade popsicles you just have to ask, "You're Wecome."
